How to Chat with Documents

Chat interface on the dashboard let's you ask questions across your documents. It does not always have to be a question, you can ask coati to show documents even with just vague context.

Here are some examples of what you can ask on the main dashboard

• "Show me the document which talks about immigration from my lawyer"

• "Show me the image where I am wearing X"

• "When did I go on a trip to hawaii"

There are two panes on the dashboard. Left hand side will always have the documents you that you have uploaded / or selected based on your questions.

• This view is meant for both navigating your docs so you can click on one of them and chat with one of them specifically.

• When you ask a question in this view, Coati will provide you an answer and you will only see the docs that are relevant to your question.

  • You do not need to hit a reset you can keep on asking questions and the view on the left with documents will continue to be updated

  • If you hit reset button you will go to the home view with all of your documents
